Nate is a thirteen-year-old boy who feels out of place in his small town, and who dreams of performing on Broadway. He decides that “E.T.: The Broadway Musical Version” is his ticket out of Jankburg, Pennsylvania, and he concocts a plan to go to the auditions all by himself in New York City.
